As I have about 2 weeks left in Costa Rica, It’s crazy to look back on all that I have learned from the Lord! It’s amazing to feel the growth! I thank God for literally everything!! Sooooo, here’s 2 things I’ve learned (there’s incredibly much more) that I want to share!

Here in Costa Rica,  everyday life is at such a slower pace. It’s not always GO GO GO!!! They value time to rest and pour into their families. Back home many people I know are so caught up with their jobs, earthly success, money, and social status. Not saying everyone, and not that there aren’t people like that here… but there’s definitely a cultural difference. Anyway, these things can place blockades in your relationship with Christ and even people around you. So, I’ve learned it’s important to try our best to “eliminate hurry from our lives.” (Got that from the fight, hustle, hurry podcast btw) Live in the moment and take in what the Lord is giving you where you are at.

Next, I don’t know about y’all, but back home I found “comfort” in binge watching tv shows, sleeping in til noon, browsing social media for hours, and going out shopping for clothes when I already have a closet fulls. What I’ve realized is, time is truly a gift from God. And real, true comfort only comes from Him. We should live our lives in a way that pleases Him. We need to value the time he has gifted us. Instead of laying around, I should be sharing His word with strangers on the street and to my close friends/family. I should be exercising, reading, drawing, worshipping, praying, reading my Bible, etc.!! Saying that, in everything we do, we should try our best to reflect Jesus’s character! I would also encourage you to spend time every day just thanking the Lord for what He is doing for you right now! 😀

 ((((( 2 Corinthians 5:9

So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him ))))

Also, another huge thank you to my supporters!!!! Love u guys??

There is no greater gift you can give to another than your time – we are proud of you for the time you are giving in Costa Rica!! We love ya!!
